  • March 25-26, 2026
  • American Institute of Architects (AIA International) Washington, DC

Event Overview

DSI’s 3rd annual FutureG for Defense & Warfare Summit will convene senior leaders from the DoW, Federal Government, Industry, and Academia in a dynamic ‘Town-Hall’ style event to focus on operationalizing current 5G networks, securing supply chains, and charting the research roadmap toward 6G (FutureG). This must-attend two-day event seeks to detail the strategic objectives and goals around the full-scale integration of secure, resilient commercial and military network technologies in support of the Warfighter.

About The 2026 FutureG for Defense & Warfare Summit

TOPICS TO BE COVERED

  • 6G & The Warfighter: Shaping the Next Generation of DoW Network Dominance
  • Driving NTIA Initiatives Towards Enabling Global Wireless Supply Chain Interoperability
  • Adopting Commercial Wireless Technologies in Support of the Warfighter
  • 5G Acquisition for Defense: Offering Secure Communications Framework through the GSA
  • Achieving The Decision and Data Advantage with Tactical 5G at the Edge
  • Integrating Robust and Secure Cybersecurity and Privacy Capabilities 5G and NextG Networks

The pursuit of FutureG (6G) is crucial to ensuring U.S. technological power and remains designated as a critical technology area by OUSW R&E. 5G already offers the speed, bandwidth, and low latency essential for increasingly complex demands like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), positioning FutureG as the digital nervous system for Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). To maintain the tactical edge, greater cooperation between the private sector and the government is required to rapidly integrate these capabilities.

Attendees will have unparalleled access to the change-makers who are shaping the FutureG strategy and translating resilient, domestic innovation into warfighting advantage. Senior leaders at this forum will address key initiatives, including:

  • Expeditionary and Tactical Use (ETU): Detailing strategies for extending reliable 5G/FutureG connectivity to forward operating bases and challenging operational setting.
  • Open Architectures & Standardization: Focusing on the continued development and deployment of Open Radio Networks (O-RAN) to ensure multi-vendor interoperability and cyber-resilience across the Joint Force.
  • Next-Generation Network Development: Offering insight into the key initiatives laying the groundwork for a modernized network, from hardware innovation to effective spectrum management strategies.

Join us at DSI’s 3rd Annual FutureG for Defense & Warfare Summit to convene with senior leaders from the DoD, Federal Government, Industry, and Academia in a dynamic ‘Town-Hall’ style event. This forum seeks to detail the strategic objectives and goals around the full-scale integration of secure, resilient commercial and military network technologies in support of the Warfighter, ensuring an open and honest dialogue around the critical efforts to operationalize 5G and chart the research roadmap toward 6G.

Gain Education & Insight:  Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the wireless telecommunications community.

Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.

Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas.

DSI’s Summit directly supports DoW priorities by providing a conduit for officials to efficiently reach audiences outside of their respective offices that directly impact their department’s mission success, at no charge to the government, and in an efficient expenditure of time.

DSI’s Summit will provide a forum to address and improve internal and external initiatives, meet with and hear from partner organizations, disseminate vital capability requirements to industry, increase visibility within the larger community, and generally support their mission.

The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoW and Federal employees and is considered an educational and training forum.

(Industry and academia members are charged a fee for admission)

Summit is CLOSED TO PRESS / NO RECORDINGS
